Jack

Jack Thomas is an artist, designer, and craftsman who has worked in the skilled trades most of his life. His career began as a carpenter in the cabinet making and upholstery trades prior to him joining the Air Force as a computer operator. He began working in graphic design and production immediately after his service in 1985 and became involved in corporate theatre production shortly after.

Relying on his early experience in construction, he started Blue Coyote Design Studio in 1989. Originally focusing on staging for events, booths and displays, his company quickly grew to encompass sets and props for video production and still photography. Jack has also worked on a number of feature films and television programs in a broad range of art department positions.

A native Texan, Jack has called St. Louis home for over 30 years, where, along with his wife Beth, he raised his two sons. Now a grandfather, Jack is a proud resident of Ferguson, where he lives with his wife and faithful dog Eddie. When he’s not designing or constructing, Jack enjoys painting his own original works of art, yelling at cable news shows, and an occasional brown liquor beverage.
